Our University is accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in the year 2025 for a period of five years, reflecting our commitment to maintaining the highest academic standards.

VCSG UUHF comprises three colleges College of Horticulture, College of Forestry, and College of Hill Agriculture two institutes (Institute of Food Science & Technology and Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants), five Research and Extension Centres, and two KVKs in the Garhwal region. Courses related to Horticulture are conducted at the College of Horticulture, Bharsar campus, courses related to Forestry and Agriculture are running at the College of Forestry, Ranichauri campus while B.Tech. (Food Technology) from Institute of Food Science & Technology, Mazrigrant (Dehradun). Our pursuit of excellence is through optimum transparency, and merit remains the foremost credential for admissions.
